AI connection
Connect Quokka to your AI assistant.
Use a compatible AI assistant to work with the Quokka records you can access. You choose the workspace and permissions when you connect.
Add Quokka as a connection
- In your AI assistant, open its connector or MCP server settings and add a remote server named AskQuokka.
- Choose HTTP or Streamable HTTP if asked for a transport, and enter this server URL:
https://askquokka.com/api/mcp- Use the assistant's sign-in or authentication option. If it asks how to register an OAuth client, choose automatic registration.
- In the browser, sign in to Quokka. Check the assistant name, workspace and requested permissions before approving the connection.
- Return to your AI assistant and start a new chat. Try: “Use AskQuokka to show which workspace I connected and my open deals.”
Menu names vary by assistant. It must support remote MCP servers and browser-based OAuth sign-in. Follow its connection instructions if the options differ.
Review permissions
Read access lets the assistant retrieve records you can access. Write and workflow permissions allow supported changes. Workspace access checks, private Google-data sharing rules and action-specific confirmations still apply. Sending an email still requires the mailbox owner's approval.
Your chosen AI assistant is a separate recipient with its own processing terms. Review those terms before sharing workspace content. You can revoke its connection in your Quokka account settings.
If the connection needs attention
- Confirm the server URL includes
/api/mcpand uses HTTPS. - Complete the browser sign-in before returning to the assistant.
- If automatic registration is unavailable, check whether your assistant supports remote MCP with OAuth.
- If you connected the wrong workspace, revoke the connection and sign in again with the intended account.
