Make the partnership proposal specific

  1. 1. Name the proposal

Explain what you want to explore, such as a workshop or joint resource. Do not imply either company has already agreed.

  2. 2. Describe the intended audience

Use a relevant problem or audience need. Do not invent audience sizes, customer overlap or introductions.

  3. 3. Keep commitments tentative

Use the email to open a conversation. Dates, costs and ownership can be agreed after both sides understand the proposal.

  4. 4. Ask for a discussion

Choose a small next step. Review the subjects and body for any suggestion of a prior relationship you do not have.

Subject options
• A thought for Example Training
• About a co-hosted customer onboarding workshop
• An idea: plan a useful workshop for those teams

Hi Robin,

I'm Jamie from Example Events. I wanted to share a co-hosted customer onboarding workshop.

If teams need a practical way to train new customer-facing staff, this could help the team at Example Training plan a useful workshop for those teams.

Would you be open to comparing workshop ideas?

Thanks,
Jamie

Replace generic mutual benefit

Tell the reader what you propose to make or do together. Keep claims about their business limited to facts you have verified.

Capture decisions later

If the conversation becomes a meeting, use an agenda and record decisions, owners and next steps in a meeting template.

Questions

Can I propose a referral partnership?

Yes. Replace the example proposal and next step. The draft does not define legal terms, fees or an agreement between the parties.

Does this find potential partners?

You choose the company. The AI writer researches its public website to suggest a relevant opener; it does not verify partnership fit.

Will opening a Gmail draft send it?

No. The handoff shares the reviewed draft with Gmail. You add the recipient, review it and choose whether to send.

Guided drafts stay in this tab. Optional AI writing processes the entered details only after consent, within the free allowance. Review AI processing details in the privacy policy before using it. Opening a draft shares the reviewed contents with your chosen email app. You send it yourself.
