Write a useful first sales email

  1. 1. Choose one offer

Describe one thing you can provide. Avoid a catalogue of products or results you cannot support.

  2. 2. Frame the problem honestly

Describe a problem the offer addresses. The guided draft uses If so it does not pretend to know the recipient has that problem.

  3. 3. Offer something useful

Offer a tailored breakdown, audit or digital sample they can ask you to share. Keep the request consistent with what you can actually deliver.

  4. 4. Review and copy

Generate three subjects and a body. Edit both, check names and claims, then copy or open the reviewed draft in your email app.

• A thought for Harbour Studio
• About a shared inbox for customer enquiries
• An idea: keep every enquiry in one place

Hi Jamie,

If customer enquiries get lost between inboxes, this may be relevant.

We offer a shared inbox for customer enquiries to help the team at Harbour Studio keep every enquiry in one place.

Would a short walkthrough be useful?

Separate relevance from research

Entering a company name is not evidence about its needs. Add specific observations only when you have checked them yourself.

Use the checkers for different questions

The content checker can flag unfinished placeholders and wording. SPF, DMARC and DKIM checks inspect public records; none guarantees a reply or inbox placement.

Questions

Does this send a campaign?

No. It creates a draft. Gmail and email-app links open a draft for you to review and send yourself; no mailbox is connected.

Does it use AI?

The website writer researches your business and the prospect’s public website after you agree, then creates two email variants. The guided example below also works without AI. You do not supply an API key.

Will I lose edits if I generate again?

An edited body or subject is kept as a previous draft when you generate another. Use Restore previous draft before leaving this tab.

Guided drafts stay in this tab. Optional AI writing processes the entered details only after consent, within the free allowance. Review AI processing details in the privacy policy before using it. Opening a draft shares the reviewed contents with your chosen email app. You send it yourself.
