When to use this template

Use this outline for a recurring team check-in when people need to coordinate priorities. Collect routine updates before the meeting so the conversation can focus on a dependency, a decision or a request for help. Revisit the previous commitments before adding new ones.

Make it useful for your meeting

  1. 1. Collect updates before the call

Ask each person for progress against their priority, a blocker and any decision they need. Link the work rather than pasting a long activity log. Use the opening minutes to clarify what changed.

  2. 2. Choose the blockers to resolve

Group related issues and name the decision needed. Invite the people who can help. If an issue needs a separate working session, assign its next step instead of using the whole team meeting.

  3. 3. Check what fits this week

Compare proposed priorities with availability and existing commitments. Agree what to finish, what to pause and which dependency needs an owner. Do not treat a suggested task as an accepted commitment.

  4. 4. Close with owners and dates

Read back the actions and ask each owner to confirm them. Keep the list where the team normally tracks work and review it at the next check-in.

Common questions

How long should a weekly team meeting be?

The outline starts at 30 minutes. Adjust it for the decisions and people involved. If the agenda contains only updates that people can read, share those updates and decide whether a live meeting is useful.

What belongs in a weekly agenda?

Include progress against agreed priorities, blockers, decisions and the coming week's commitments. Give actions an owner and a date, and make space to review unfinished work.

Can I reuse the agenda next week?

Yes. Download the document, then update its date, priorities and outstanding actions in your own editor. AskQuokka keeps the current document in this tab only; it does not schedule recurring meetings.

Your document stays in this tab. Copy or download it before leaving. The editor does not record a call, send your notes or save them to an account.
